Flick is a Chrome extension for gesture-based tab management. This policy explains how Flick handles your data. The short version: Flick does not collect any data.
What we collect
Nothing. Flick has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no servers. It never transmits any data off your device.
What is stored locally
Tab URLs, titles, and your preferences (wheel size, spaces, settings) are saved on your device via Chrome's local storage. This data exists solely to power the wheel — saving, switching between, and reopening the tabs you assign to slots. It is never sent anywhere, is not synced across devices, and is never seen by the developer or any third party.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or log your browsing history. Flick only stores the URLs and titles of tabs you actively assign to wheel slots, and temporarily tracks your previous tab (in session memory, not persisted) to enable quick switching. No other data is touched.
Third parties
None. Flick makes no network requests to external services. The only optional external link is a "buy me a coffee" support page (Gumroad), which opens in a new tab only when you click it — identical to clicking any link.
Data retention & deletion
All data lives in your browser. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes everything. There is nothing to delete on our side, because nothing ever leaves your device.
Changes
If a future version ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the change will be reflected in the extension's store listing before release.
